This power allows you to make another user talk backwards.
To use this power you will just need to click on another users name and then click reverse.
Just like always when banning a user you will need to be a moderator, owner or main owner.

I am so happy to find out that GSOUND one of many powers I suggested is actually getting made. I would just like to let you know what made me think of this power suggestion and why I think it would be a good power.
When I first joined Xat I always heard the BONG defualt sound that you hear when someone types a new message. I started getting annoyed with the sound and since 2009 always had the chat voulme on mute.
In 2011 I was making a list of different power ideas when I first thought of GSOUND and how it could be really useful for some chats. I thought, instead of having the BONG sound all the time why not have a little click sound (same kind of thing you get when you click on your computer mouse).
I worked closey with Joombly, the creator of Xatworld, to see what people thought of the power idea; you might remember seeing the poll on Xatblogs.com homepage or remember seeing this tweet: http://i49.tinypic.com/10dfoer.png. The original link was: http://util.xat.com/vote/story.php?title=sound-group-power-suggestion-rerite but was removed later due to Xat updating there servers.
After that the suggestion got emailed into Xat staff and they thought it was a good idea but I didn’t hear anything back. After a few months the suggestion got sent back in again and about a week later the power was created!

So we’re just getting some information on Xat’s new NUCLEAR power (217). We had a hunch, a few actually, and one of them has come close to what we imagined. The nuclear power, per Xat’s description, allows you to add “cool nuclear effects to your smilies”; think “nuclear engergy symbol“.
Xat has created an app (see below) that easily allows you to tweak your nuclear smiley effects.
That’s all we know for now. We will update this post as we get more info.

Hey everyone! As a follow-up to our last post about Xat “possibly maybe” working on a poll power, well, it turns out that they were and have almost completed it! They did however make one last minute change and decided to name the power VOTE instead of “poll”.
The VOTE power gives you (chat main owner) the ability to create your own group chat polls. You currently have some reasonable control over said poll. You can for example, create your poll question with up to 8 answers, change the background image (a 425 x 320 jpg seems to work the best here), select who can vote (think of this as “rank and above”), and customize a few other text fields. Note that at the time of this post Xat is still working on bugs and possibly a few improvements so some things may change.

Also, this is a group power so you will first have to assign it to your chat then activate it in your chat administration panel. From there you will be able to access the VOTE dialog shown above.

What do you think of when I mention the word Spring? Spring in is the air and with it comes Xat’s latest power, SPRING a.k.a. power 219.
Still unreleased at the moment, Xat’s LIMITED, SPRING power includes 14 smilies that visibly capture the arrival of a new season. Included are (spring) (bees) (birdy) (butterflys) (flohat) (flohide) (flowers) (floshow) (flowerbed) (inflower) (rainbow2) (springhat) (watercan) and (watercan2) and will be released for 250 xats – see below.
Xat’s SPRING power also brings with it a Spring Kiss and 4 limited pawns. They are: Bee: (hat#hb) Butterfly (hat#hu) Flower (hat#hf) and Rainbow2 (hat#hr)
This just in, power 221 appears to be Xat’s HANDS2 power (power smiley pictured above). Hands2, like it’s predecesor HANDS, will presumably allow you to give hands to other smilies.

An announcement by Xat on their Twitter feed has confirmed that the next power will be the EGGS power.
Per Xat, EGGS is limited and one power will be released every day; assuming here that they mean until Easter (March 31, 2013), that means we can expect roughly 9 smileys. We will update our Xat power search with the newest EGGS smileys as they are announced. Update: (eggs)(chickwalk)(eggnod)(eggbroke)(stripegg)(eggsleep)(bunnyears)(eggtounge)(basket2). With EGGS comes two three new Easter pawns (both requiring HAT and EGGS powers), they are: Egg2 (hat#he), Egg (hat#hg) and Eggbroke (hat#hb); see images below.

A few weeks ago, Tom2 was at Xat’s test chat testing what a few suspected was the next power. Confirmed today, that power has been slated as (HEARTS), Xat power 224. Xat will be testing it throughout the day.
The only information we have so far is that HEARTS will be a game power (think spacewar, snakerace, matchrace, and doodlerace).
While we now wait for more details, you can take a peak at the HEARTS power smiley on our Xat smiley generator. We will update this post as we get more information.
Xat’s latest release, which comes in less than 4 hours, took me a bit by surprise. Many of us, I think, were expecting a Hearts release. Instead we are getting a KFOX release; presumably another “Kaoani” style group smiley power . Per Xat, the KFOX release will take place in 2 batches of 2500.
The 12 the KFOX smileys are (kfox)(kfoxbino)(kfoxcry)(kfoxd)(kfoxggl)(kfoxinl)(kfoxpsy)(kfoxshades)(kfoxsleep)(kfoxtant)(kfoxtwag) and (kfoxwhat). They can be previewed on our xat smiley generator and or our xat power search.

This week’s power is RANKLOCK. This is a function power and is going to be an unlimited power. Ranklock was released on xat’s marketplace for 200 xats.
Function:
With Ranklock power, staff may “lock” specific users into certain ranks in order to prevent them from being promoted or demoted (for example, you may force a user to remain guest, thus preventing them from being promoted.
Usage:
/r ID guest/member/mod/owner/off
e.g/r 648054 mod
For example, if you type “/r 648054 mod” it would force me into the moderator position until the lock is removed.

It seems xat is working on a new power / feature. It’s called choirhug.
Choirhug power allows you to send hugs to your friends. It can be done in main or private chat.
Command
Choirhug power is not on the graphic interface so you have to use the following command:
If you use it in main chat, it’ll charge you 10 xats for each hug sent. Hugs sent in private chat are free.
